Speculation has emerged that the fate of Liverpool's next manager could be in the hands of Arsenal.

Liverpool are expected to part ways with Jürgen Klopp after this season. Klopp announced his intention to step down during the season, citing energy depletion and the need for a break.

The Reds, who had enjoyed a glorious time with Klopp, quickly set out to find their next manager. As immense as Klopp's stature was, the search for a new manager was not easy. Xabi Alonso, Robert Degerbi, and Ruben Amorim were among the names that were floated, but negotiations failed to progress or they opted to stay at their current clubs.

One name that came to mind was Feyenoord coach Arne Slott. Slott had already been rumored to be Tottenham's next manager before Enze Postecoglou's appointment ahead of this season.

Slott is a manager who has recently been recognized for his attacking tactics during his career in the Dutch league. He started his managerial career at AZ Alkmaar in 2019 and is now in charge of Feyenoord. He"s also known as 'New Turnhard' because of his resemblance to Manchester United manager Eric Dier. He led Feyenoord to the league title last season, and this season they finished second in the league and qualified for the Champions League.

Slott, in particular, has been praised for transforming Feyenoord into an incredibly attack-minded side, scoring over 80 league goals both last season and this season. Stuyvenberg is one of Mikel Arteta's most integral members of staff. Known for wearing Airpods to every game, he already has coaching experience with the Dutch national team, Manchester United, and the Welsh national team, as well as a stint with Belgian Ligue 1 side Genk. A former Feyenoord youth player, he also has coaching experience at Feyenoord and is being considered as a possible replacement for Slott.
