In a groundbreaking and unwavering stance against sexual harassment and assault within the entertainment industry, Chong Kim, a globally recognized human trafficking survivor and celebrated filmmaker, has made a resolute decision to remove American actor Kenyon Glover from her award-winning film ‘E40S.’

The London Journal broke the story Thursday. Kim told the paper that Glover had no further connection to the film. “He has been removed and is no longer associated with E40S,” Kim said in a statement.

Chong Kim, whose relentless efforts to shine a light on the dark corners of human trafficking have earned her international acclaim, is known for her uncompromising dedication to social justice. Her latest project, ‘E40S,’ (Every 40 seconds) is a compelling film that tackles the pressing issues surrounding human trafficking and exploitation. Ms. Kim's steadfast commitment to this cause has led her to take a momentous step concerning her film's cast.

Kenyon Glover, an actor who in recent weeks, has come under fire for misconduct online and offline. Glover has been charged with a domestic violence offense, under investigation for sexual misconduct, and entangled in controversy over provocative images and videos posted on his social media accounts. Glover has faced predatory allegations and the London Journal reported that Glover is the subject of two current violence restraining orders in two different U.S. jurisdictions. Glover, also a minister, recently had a California Superior Court Judge rule against him for assault on a woman to whom he was working under the cloak of a spiritual advisor.

In light of these serious accusations and in alignment with her commitment to upholding the integrity of her project, Chong Kim has opted to remove Mr. Glover from the cast of 'E40S,' ensuring that the film remains a powerful platform for addressing crucial issues without compromising the principles she vehemently advocates for.

Chong Kim emphasizes, "My dedication to fighting against human trafficking and advocating for the rights of survivors is at the core of my work. It is vital that my projects remain consistent with the values and principles of these causes. I firmly believe in maintaining a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to sexual harassment and misconduct within our industry."

Chong Kim and her dedicated team are excited about the future of 'E40S' and are actively promoting the film so that it brings more worldwide attention to the cause. The film, which has already generated immense anticipation, is poised to be a compelling and thought-provoking masterpiece that will continue to make a profound impact on audiences across the globe.
